The Rocket M5 Titanium is one of the most well-known and powerful networking products developed by Ubiquiti Network. The device can act as a base station, bridge, or access point, depending on how the network is being designed. The signal can penetrate through different kinds of barriers such as walls and ceilings. One of the ports is Gigabit Ethernet, which gives the device the ability to maintain its speed. The other is one 10/100 port. It is also equipped with Atheros MIPS 74KC at 550MHz speed, 8MB Flash, and 128MB SDRAM. It makes use of waterproof RF jumpers with 1 SMA for GPS. 

Installation and Maintenance 

The Rocket M5 Titanium measures 160 x 80 x 44 mm and weighs only 350 grams. It is made from a die-cast aluminum, which makes it truly durable and a great protector for the essential but critical parts of the device. This also means that Rocket M5 Titanium is compatible with outdoor use. When you want to use a RocketDish or sector antenna, you can simply snap it at the back of the base station and you’re good to go. It is 802.3af compliant, so you can use its PoE technology.
