Backward Compatibility 

The R52Hn provides full support for various wireless networking standards. Though most of the devices today are already in 802.11g and 802.11n, it still works should the device be in 802.11a or 802.11b. 

Dual-band 

The mini PCI network adapter makes use of the Atheros AR9920 chipset, which makes it a dual-band 2x2 MIMO technology. This works in either 2.4 GHz or 5GHz, with an actual frequency range of 2.192-2.539 GHz or 4.920 to 6.100GHz. When you want a wider coverage, you can go for the 2.4GHz since a lower frequency means a higher range. On the other hand, if you want lesser interference, you can go up. You can also choose which of the two bandwidth frequencies is less used in the area to get a more stable Internet connection. 

MMCX Connectors 

The MMCX connectors allow you to make use of antennas to strengthen the broadcast and may be used for as GPS receivers and devices such as PDAs.
